Best Seat in the House is enchanting, inspiring, and dazzling in its simplicity and wisdom. The story describes the journey of a used chair, passed on to new owners after its original owner moves to a retirement facility. Living in the new house comes with benefits and challenges, and the chair is about to learn many of them. The owners' busy lifestyle leaves the chair's mind spinning but it quickly finds its place within the family, learning how to survive among them.
Along the way, the chair succumbs to age, decay, and isolation when it gets relocated to a dark room with no other visitors but the family cat. A young girl visits sporadically and her presence is enough to offer hope until everything changes again. Ready to be tossed at the curb like all its predecessors, the chair accepts its fate. However, the owners have other plans in mind.
This is a story about love, grief, loneliness, friendship, happiness, acceptance, and finding your place in the world. Beautiful, evocative, and deeply touching, this story will carve a special place in your heart with its timeless messages and heartfelt truths.
