saucy with content

Nice mix of Chick Lit sizzle with character development. The male reader was awesome. For me, there was something off putting with the female reader's cadence and accent, but she read the part well. The romance was well balanced with exploration of substance abuse recovery, crippling self doubt, family expectations and the challenges of being a woman in the work place.

Thoroughly enjoyed this story

Beautiful romantic story without being too synthetic. Emmanuel makes an awesome voice actor, capturing the feminine nuances of female characters without sounding too cartoonish or disingenuous
I look forward to finding titles narrated by him.

leave you wanting more In a good way

This story is 5 stars all around. I am loving these 2 narrators together I want more from them together. For me everything was perfect. Some reviews suggested that the writer gives too many details, but I disagree she told a story and it was beautiful, I loved reading the journey of this story, I like the details, I don't like stories that seem rushed , 2weeks and they are in mad love ready to have a baby. This story was fun and interesting, the ending was bittersweet I loved it but I was sad that it was ending, I will miss them

Definitely Left You Wanting More

First of all, I love the choosen narrators. They read with show much emotion and conviction. If you haven’t listen to “Before I Let Go” By Kennedy Ryan, I recommend it.
As for this story, it was absolutely beautiful. A truly heartfelt and refreshing love story. Well done.

Totally Enthralling

I loved this! Kept me from beginning to end! Couldn’t stop listening and envisioning the characters!

The whole outline of the story was great

It wasn’t nothing that I disliked about the book it was realistic. It was a story that could happen to anyone in real life. This book was great.

Loved this story

Great story, the characters had amazing depth and I can appreciate the authors skill of telling a story within a story. The narration seemed off at times ex: in Logan’s chapters all the men sounded the same, it was difficult to distinguish between Pierre vs. Les vs. other lawyer guy (can’t remember his name) — it threw me off a bit. Same for the women in Pierre’s chapters. The narration for Logan’s character was a tad annoying at times but tolerable enough since the story was so good. I’d definitely love to hear more about the lives of these characters.

A great story

I absolutely loved the love story between Logan and Pierre. It wasn’t heavy or melodramatic. As always, CCJ gave us a well written, expertly researched, adult romance and I was here for it. And the narration was spot on. Bravo all around.
