Als wäre das nicht genug, stolpert sie auf dem Campus einem attraktiven Masterstudenten in den Schoß, dessen charmantes Lächeln sich schnell als Fassade entpuppt. Er und sein bester Freund scheuen keine Mühen, Hayden bloßzustellen, um sie von der Akademie zu vertreiben. Vor allem der arrogante und verschlossene Sohn des Dekans, Silas Stone, scheint sie aus tiefster Seele zu hassen.
Wenn da bloß nicht dieses verflucht heiße Knistern zwischen ihnen wäre... und die Tatsache, dass sie als Jungfrau für ein gefährliches Magieritual in den Fokus einer geheimen Verbindung gerät.
