In the same neighborhood, a Rwandan family, who immigrated to America after escaping the genocide in Rwanda in 1994, seeks answers to questions about their home country. In a search for restoration and reconciliation, the two families find themselves halfway around the world in Murambi, Rwanda.
Beautifully Broken is a vulnerable account of the miraculous intertwining of two families who, through divine connection and the Lord’s providence, found healing in their brokenness and pain. The authors masterfully present their witness to the deep issues trauma leaves behind, and the power of unfathomable love and liberating forgiveness.
Through the heartwarming story of a father fighting to save his daughter and the hope-filled story of a family narrowly escaping genocide, you will be reminded of God’s faithfulness and His ability to bring good from any painful past. These minutes illustrate the redeeming nature of the Savior and the blessing in being Beautifully Broken.
