Wow, this one is memorable!

This was so good in audio form, I thought the narrator did an excellent job capturing the creepy atmosphere. I really loved how Hank and Jonah’s story unfolds, their marriage coming apart so quickly- it really kept me invested in getting to the end. I think it’s hard to create characters that are all the more terrifying because they feel so grounded in the ordinary world. No spoilers, but this one will stay with me. With Jonah, Hank, and Abbott you get a terrifyingly up close and personal glimpse of madness. Gripping, intense, a real standout of a thriller.

A Very Scary Story

This was terrifyingly scary, I guess I didn't expect it to edge on the horror line. I am a fan of the author and was looking forward to reading this thrilling suspenseful story. I got a lot of thrilling suspense, and then some very scary scenes to add. This story is very well written and characters are so realistically flawed, a perfect cautionary tale for extramarital pursuance, however a bit too scary for my tastes. Narrator did a good job with the voices and his talents added the thrill to the story and darkness to characters. Overall this was an interesting if a terrifying listening experience.

Hank definitely got more than he was counting on, wowsers, what a wild ride!!! OMG, I'm still in shock. One thing I can always count on from Rick R. Reed is an amazing story. From start to finish he had me spellbound.

This was the first time I've had the opportunity to listen to something by this narrator, Alan I Ross. He had a great voice and I couldn't quit listening.

As always, Rick R Reed left me in awe and I will not soon forget this story.

Scary thriller

If you’re looking to experience a thrilling, scary crime from start to finish and all angles of everyone involved in the case in any way, this is it. Although the blurb had me thinking there may be some romance, this was in no way a romance novel. A lot of on page triggers so if there is a trigger list available I would recommend checking that out, but if you have none and want to witness how quickly someone’s life can spiral out of control after one wrong decision then I’d recommend this for you! Third person omniscient narration.

unforgettable

When reading the description, I was intrigued by it. I've read a couple of thrillers before, which is why I took a chance on listening to one. Glad I did because it was a great story! Absolutely loved!!

Thrilling!

This story was very thrilling, and stands as a cautionary tale about people that want to step out on their partners. It has many twists and turns, and had me on the edge of my seat! The narrator was very good and the story was written very well.

This ended up being one of my favorite novels from Rick Reed! It was so creepy and immersive, especially in audio! The narrator was perfect for this story! Loved it!

Not a Romance

This wasn't a romance. And this should come with a trigger list.
This might be a good story for someone who enjoys horror or thriller type books but it just wasn't for me.
