Wonderful

I loved this story the first time I read it and loved it just as much listening to the audio. Owen and Tara had a long road ahead of them when this book started. Their journey will make you cry, laugh and root for the underdog.
I enjoyed the narration. It wasn't bad at all.

what a hero

Owen had enough heart and integrity to save to save the one who held the power to condemn him to death! How honorable and selfless is that?? This was such a sad st3fir me, because I was worried over Owen's fate. I'm happy with the way things turned out. The narrator was awesome. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this story and am giving an honest review.

Finding a forever love

I loved Tara and Owen’s shifter-human fated mates instalove suspense story. It is a heartwarming and spicy story with real and relatable characters with a backdrop of danger. Tara is a human who lives in small town Mystery, Alaska. Owen is a bear shifter from Reylea. He arrived on earth through a magic portal while his world was collapsing. He was an outcast on Rylea for losing his tribe and he is one in Mystery too. The instant he sees Tara, Owen recognizes the soul call shining from her and knows she’s his mate. But Owen is forbidden from having a mate based on Rylan customs but when a pack of wolf shifters threaten Tara, he cannot stay away. The journey to their HEA includes danger, the threat of death, physiological and cultural differences, baggage unpacking, and life course realignment. The book was well written with three dimensional characters and good world building. I am excited to read the next Reylean’s HEA.

Klaus Von Hohenloe did a good job narrating the story and characters into life with enough change of inflection, tone and cadence to voice multiple characters quite convincingly.

Great Listen

I love Owen. I felt so bad for him being afraid to love Tara because of his status (which you have to learn about in the book). Owen is a bear shifter who lives with his sister Amy. They don’t live with the Tribe once again because of Owen’s status but it’s something Amy really wants. She encourages Owen to go after what he wants but he refuses. He watches Tara from afar but then wolves start harassing her and everything changes.
This story is so good. It’s a very well written story with a fantastic storyline and the narrator was a perfect choice.

A bit formulaic

Nice job of narrating. Story so so. I’m not decided about others from this author.

Can These Fated Mates Overcome The Odds

I really enjoyed this book. Owen and Tara's story is filled with deep emotion, intense inner turmoil, angst and tension. This book really tugged at my heartstrings for the struggle that this meant-to-be couple faced on the road to a HEA. This is book three in this incredibly enjoyable PNR series and I highly recommend that you read these books in order as the overarching story continues to build throughout, previous events are referenced and characters are introduced and reappear. I love this series so much and am always excited to read each new entry in it. I enjoyed the narrator and I thought the voice fit the book very well. This is my independent, impartial review.

Awesome new series

This is book 3 in the Shifter Soulmate series and is a stand alone book with a wonderful HEA. I recommend this book to all paranormal lovers. It has dragons, bears, loins and wolves. Owen is one lonely bear, this is his story how he gets his HEA. The narrator does a wonder job with all the characters. Looking forward to the next book in the series. Happy Listening.
