Intriguing But Not Easygoing

This author is new to me but has jumped onto my radar full force. I listened to Be Mine Twisted Valentine straight through today except for one break where I had to take a break to collect my equilibrium. The tension just builds and builds and I knew things were going to get very bad as the story progressed. Ending was not what I expected and it wasn’t a letdown.
I just signed up for Gianni Holmes’s newsletter and am looking at more of her books to add to my library. I love dark romance so this was right up my alley.

Very twisted indeed.

As unrealistic as this story begins, it seems to have a happy ending. There were many times I just had to cut it off and take a break. Truthfully, I’m surprised I finished it and I guess it worked out for the characters.

Twisted & dark in all the best ways

Kept my attention the entire time! So different from anything I've read before and had some little shocks/surprises along the way! This is a toxic relationship from the beginning and at times made me question if I was supposed to be rooting for these two. Love books that make my mind spin and question myself!

Would have liked to see more flashbacks of their past & would have loved a ending that was more HEA vs HFN but the ending felt fitting for these two characters.

Would def recommend this to any MM dark romance lovers

Narration for the audio book was also fantastic!

DARK, TWISTED & LOVED IT!!

Skipped passed the trigger warnings as I always do, no spoilers for me! This book is twisted and dark and so damn hot that a cold shower wasn't cooling me off!
The only problem is ... I NEED more! It doesn't necessarily end on a cliff hanger but there are so many ways this story could go and I NEED to know!
OH, and John's growley voice, I can't even breath!! Everytime he said 'pet' ... yep there is something wrong with me 🤣😂
If you like the MM dark, dirty & twisted; you'll love this book and John Solo fans, you can't miss this one! He's an amazing narrator & he really grabs you from the beginning in this one!

What toxicity? 😆

This relationship was toxic as heck and I loved every single minute of it. Not the darkest book I’ve read/heard, but if you have any concerned, please read the trigger warnings. That aside, it turned out to be a pretty sweet ending. Really enjoyed this book.

Sadistic Monster & His Pet!

Having been curious about this book for a while now after having read and loved majority of the other books within the multi author series, I saw this on audio and was hooked to try it! Glad that I did since Solo, as with many of his other narrations, was utterly sexy, filthy, and kept me on edge waiting for what more devilry Duncan and Teddy would get up to! Especially Solo's voice for Duncan was 🥵! The only few hiccups I had were with the story itself and lack of triggers for MF portions. Otherwise, loved the variety of kinks and triggers that made this, as the title says, a twisted read! Make sure to read the trigger warnings before listening to this! Will be on the lookout for more narration by Solo for sure!
