As Grover, a young revolutionary with the fire of rebellion in his eyes, calls on Rex to investigate the deaths of his three friends, Rex is forced to confront his demons from bygone days as he sets off in search of the truth for one final time.
In the journey that ensues, where everything is not as it seems and every step could mark their last, tyrants are unmasked, loyalties are tested, and betrayals are abundant everywhere they look.
Scarred, scabbed, and carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders, would Rex get to the bottom of the most convoluted case he'd ever laid eyes on?
