Great for complete novices

This audiobook serves as a very basic introduction to accounting principles and terminology. Intended for those who probably do not know a thing about accounting, it goes over the basic concepts such as balance sheets, double-entry accounting, the accrual principle, and some other basics. Included are several simple examples of how a small business might use these concepts in real life.

Great Audiobook

This is a great accounting book, but I work in a government office and the procedures here are very different that what is depicted in the book. I found some sections very helpful though and if I worked at a small business and was required to set up an accounting system this would have been that perfect book.

A helpful intro if you do not have an accounting

These entrepreneurs would do well to listen to these two books by author: Accounting Principles, Profesional Accounting They explain, in short and concise chapters, what accounting is and how it works. Even if it only allows entrepreneurs to speak the language their accountant uses, or convinces them that they need an accountant in the first place, it would be worth it.

Very basics of accounting

It literally takes you from the very basics of accounting to the corporate level of accounting. I wanted to learn it just for my own knowledge. I am quite happy with this book and how it goes through example after example. I would recommend this book to any student in school or any individual that is looking to increase their knowledge in the business and financing area!
