En ny pige dukker op i børnenes klasse. Hun vil gerne have venner, men det er ikke så let, når man aldrig har prøvet at lege med andre børn før, og ens mor siger, at folk ikke kan lide en, når man kan trylle. Fidusmusene har fundet en guldklump på bunden af bævernes dam. Krøsus mener, at de kan finde mere, hvis de river byens dæmning ned. Men så vil hele byen blive oversvømmet! Bamse må i gang! Men hvor er han? En spændende historie med masser af trylleri og krafthonning!
Velkommen til Bamses verden!
Når Bamse spiser Farmors krafthonning, bliver han verdens stærkeste bjørn! Han er også verdens rareste bjørn, der hjælper alle dem, der har brug for hjælp – både venner og uvenner. Bamse er spontan og nysgerrig. Han er gift med Brummelise, og de har fire børn sammen, trillingerne Bamsemaja, Teddy, Brum samt den lille Bamselotte. Når Bamse ikke er på arbejde i skoven, er han ofte ude på eventyr med sine bedste venner Lille Hopsa og Ole Opfinder.
Rune Andreásson blev født i Göteborg i 1925 og var både serieskaber og animator. Han fandt tidligt interessen for at tegne og debuterede allerede som tegneserietegner i gymnasietiden i ugebladet Allers Familiejournal med historien om Brum. Siden da har han fortryllet læsere med historier om Lille Rikard, Pellefant og ikke mindst Bamse – verdens stærkeste bjørn. Med tiden er Bamse blevet en af Nordens mest succesfulde børneserier, som også er blevet filmatiseret flere gange.
