One of my favorite books!

I listen to roughly 3-5 books per week via Audible & this has been one of my favorites. The story is long & slow progressing but the characters make it enjoyable. This is not a story with sex scenes on every page & instant gratification. It's a story of young college students slowly building a friendship/relationship at a pace that would likely occur in real life, esp when one of them has abandonment issues. This isn't a story that shows the characters married, pregnant & 10x orgasms per day within 3 months of meeting. It's well written & fairly realistic for this type of genre.

Captivating

I didn't want to stop listening once I started. True romance without being cheesy, super steamy but not explicit. Really funny and likable characters!

Whoa so much angst.

If you like a story full of angst and heartbreak then dive right into this one. The story does not conclude at the end of this book so I still need to find out if they get a happily ever after.

This is an intense story but you will be captivated from the first chapter. All the previous reviews are right. It's a lovely story with loads of passion and love and pain.

Amazing Book and Narration

Would you listen to Bad Romeo again? Why?

Absolutely, Andi Arndt is an amazing narrator; she is able to convey the emotions of all of the characters and readers will be able to feel everything they do through her voice intonations.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Cassie and Holt are both well developed and flawed. There's definite growth on both of their parts and getting the flashbacks and present day really shows that.

What does Andi Arndt bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Andi's tones and intonations truly reflect the emotions of the characters and I wouldn't get that by just reading it myself.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

If we shouldn't want bad, why does it feel so good?

Excellent Story, Great Narrator

This story was fun. This love story was good, except I don't usually like books that go back and forth in time because I get distracted and miss where the story is. I have to listen closely to know where, in the characters' life, the story is taking place. It is still a great romance. Of course, one of my favorite narrators, Andi Arndt, did an excellent job with the characters.

I do not know Leisa Rayven's writing .. but I do now thx to Andi Arndt ... she is a genius with her voice ... totally why I picked up this audible book ... totally ... her voice is pleasing to the ears and you just get sucked into the book ... totally. love the cover too. must listen or read totally. now I will look more into Leisa's book soon enough. ( :

Wow, just wow!!

These characters had perfect chemistry. Hotter than hot. I loved every minute of this book and the narration was spot on. Full of the emotion of the story. Counting the minutes for the sequel, Broken Juliet.

I loved this book

Every chapter was a beautiful heart pounding piece of sensational story. This book ticked all my boxes. I can hardly wait for the next book to be released.
