Acerca de esta escucha
At its core, confidence is not about perfection or constant self-assurance; it’s about developing a healthy relationship with yourself, recognizing your inherent worth, and learning to act with courage even when self-doubt creeps in. Research tells us that self-belief is shaped by a blend of mindset, habits, and environment, and the good news is: each is within your power to shift.
Start by getting curious about your strengths. The SOAR coaching model encourages you to identify what you’re naturally good at, explore where you can use those strengths, set clear aspirations, and then break those into actionable steps. For example, if creativity is your strength, look for real-life opportunities to showcase that talent—maybe volunteering for a project or pitching an idea at work.
But what if you feel stuck by self-doubt or imposter syndrome? That’s where structured coaching and mindset work come in. I guide clients to recognize negative self-talk and gently challenge the beliefs that keep them small. Notice when your inner critic says, “I’m not good enough,” and ask, “Is this thought based on facts or just old conditioning?” Keep a journal of your wins—both big and small—to build a factual narrative of what you’re capable of.
Goal setting is essential, but the secret is to aim for stretch goals that push you a little past your comfort zone without overwhelming you. Setting and achieving these small wins retrains your brain to see evidence of your competence.
Assertive communication is another pillar of self-esteem. Practice expressing your needs and boundaries clearly, without apologizing for who you are. The more you use your voice, the more you strengthen your belief in its value.
Reflect regularly to track your growth and adjust your approach. When you stumble, remember that setbacks do not define you—they’re a normal part of progress.
Today, technology can support your journey. Coaching apps and virtual tools now offer instant feedback, track your progress, and provide reminders for daily self-confidence exercises, making personal growth more accessible than ever.
Above all, remember: growth is a process, not a one-time event. Every step matters, and you don’t have to walk it alone.
