After lunch on June 13th, 2025, Jonathan Perez resumed his testimony in the federal trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs, offering damning details that reinforced the government’s racketeering and sex trafficking allegations. Perez, a former Combs security employee turned cooperating witness, testified about a specific 2016 incident in Miami where he claimed he witnessed Combs physically assault a woman at a private party and later direct staff to “clean it up” and “get her quiet.” He stated that money was exchanged afterward and that Combs instructed him never to speak of the incident. The prosecution used Perez’s recollection to suggest a pattern of coercion, witness silencing, and obstruction of justice — aligning it with earlier testimony from female accusers who alleged that payouts and intimidation were standard after violent encounters.


Perez also told the court that Combs maintained a private surveillance system on his properties, allegedly used to record and archive footage of parties, including potential incriminating material. He said that some of these recordings were stored in a “vault room” accessible only to a small group of trusted insiders, further fueling the prosecution's theory that Combs operated a tightly controlled criminal enterprise. Under cross-examination, the defense sought to discredit Perez by pointing to past drug use and his motivation for cooperating with prosecutors, implying he was seeking leniency for unrelated charges.
