Excellent read. great resource with references for understanding truly that God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Believers should walk I the miraculous as normal course in walking with God.

My title says it all. I’m convinced. Wake up church. Don’t act like the Pharisees who has such influence that was detrimental.

enlightening and revelational

I have wondered how Jesus in the first century and those that followed healed the sick, raised the dead, cast out demons, and cleansed the lepers as Jesus said to do but we don't see it today. Randy Clark clarified how our enemy systematically stole the belief in it's reality and destroyed what should be normative today.

What history has stolen from TheBody

I have been a believer almost 55yrs. Lost count how many times I have read the entire Bible. Was part of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa during the “Jesus Revolution” (before the tent & the current location), attended Christ for the Nations in Dallas, TX for a year. Have sat under some awesome teachers: Chuck Smith Sr, Lonnie Frisbee, Gordon Lindsey, Chuck Missler, John Wimber (pre-Vineyard), several others at conferences, etc… all with +/- errors, like everybody else.

I was part of what would now be called a “Home Church” (long before that became popular) that began with just three on-fire 18 yo new obeyers who wanted more of YeshuaJesus & became a small fellowship of 50-60 regulars, of all ages. I wish I had understood then that we were experiencing HolySpirit visitation, but, we did not.

Now in my senior years, I feel ripped off. I thought I knew what “the Gospel” was but am discovering I only had a small part of it.

Because of what this book addresses: Contrast between Scriptural documentation & distortions in church history from what YeshuaJesus Himself taught & that which became (man’s) theology/doctrine.

I was fortunate to have very early experiences that prevented me from dismissing out of hand much of what this book addresses.

Lonnie Frisbee prayed for me in 1971 for a lump I’d found in my thigh. Six months later a Dr discovered it & I had surgery to remove it. Turned out be benign in final analysis, but the surgeon had to wait for pathology report before permitting me to eat after surgery because it looked like an aggressive cancer, was much deeper than he had expected, wrapped around my thigh bone & 6 different pathologists had 3 different conclusions as to what it was. If the surgeon’s original thought had been correct, they would have taken my leg the next day. I believe HolySpirit stopped its growth but left the tumor as a testimony. Nothing else makes any sense to me (or the surgeon).

When my daughter was 2yo I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was given a year. I chose alternative treatment with Laetrile and nutritional support. But I was *healed* when a brother at a home fellowship asked to pray for me & I was “struck by HolySpirit fire”… no other way to describe it. I been concerned my daughter would grow up without a mother like I grew up without a father. God had other plans.

Those two experiences made it impossible for me to dismiss the fact God still heals today.

But I have lost a lot of “time” on this Planet because I am only now, in the past 5yrs, learning that we are *spirit* beings with a soul temporarily housed in a physical body. That we are *supposed* to be living a super-natural life, that we are LITERALLY “The Body of Christ” - at least we are supposed to be - doing exactly what YeshuaJesus MODELED for us: living the Kingdom SpiritRealm life here, on Earth, as His Kingdom Ambassadors… *exactly* as His original disciples did - not just the apostles, but *everyone* that followed Him - with HolySpirit Power & Authority that empowered His Ekklesia to “turn the world upside down.”

WE are supposed to BE “the Book of Acts” christians turning *our* world right side up… and His Body is beginning to get the WHOLE GOSPEL, with signs & wonders following, as HolySpirit is bringing in Harvest Revival in the End Times… just as YeshuaJesus & His Word SAID.

I had to speed up this narrator… he’s good, but oh my gosh, it was painful listening to him at “default” speed! 😆 Once I jacked up to 1.25, it was much better. 😇

Powerful Book

Great content! I had to speed up the narration to 1.5X which made it much easier to listen to. Definitely recommend this title.
