At twenty-six, Jade inherits a mysterious manor in Foisic, Brittany, France—a village that doesn’t appear on any map. Strange. Even stranger, the property comes from her great-aunt Aglaia, a woman Jade never even knew existed. As a true Parisian, Jade has no intention of settling in such a remote place. Her plan is simple: renovate Les Ibis manor in a few weeks and sell it for a handsome profit.
But from the moment she arrives, the small village begins buzzing with curiosity about the newcomer. To make matters worse, a shady real estate agent is determined to get his hands on Les Ibis, no matter the cost.
As Jade explores the manor’s many rooms—some locked and shrouded in mystery—she stumbles upon an attic filled with antique treasures. It turns out Aglaia was an Egyptologist with a penchant for puzzles. Clues scattered throughout the house point to an enigmatic treasure dating back to the reign of Louis XV.
With the help of Alban, the village’s charming schoolteacher; Corentin, a precocious young boy; and her loyal dachshund, Rimbaud, Jade embarks on a thrilling quest to unravel her great-aunt’s secrets and uncover the truth hidden within Les Ibis.
