Acerca de esta escucha
Believing that the grass is greener on her side of the fence, throughout Kristy's life, she was told "no" or "you can't do it, it's not possible" or "you are not (blank) enough". Kristy is determined to make the impossible possible. Kristy uses the negative and made it her motivation. Her journey started by growing up on a dairy farm and believing in God. She knows that failure is a part of her, but never quitting gives her strength. Staying busy and fixing technical problems is her passion.
This book shows how her life has given her strength and leverage through the struggles of becoming independent and empowered. She has learned that accepting help is not a weakness. Kristy stands by her belief that it is okay to always ask God and others "Why?" but not "Why me?"

Beautiful Perspective on Being Different but Same
Kristy opens her whole world and inner most thoughts, fears, and feelings. Her genuine faith, will to live, and sense of purpose are striking. I feel enriched by hearing her story and also humble and more educated in my own views.
She is the most impressive engineering professional I've ever met. That was my very first impression after a phone meeting.
I was completely blown away when she opened up about her conditions and struggles. Now reading her book, I can see that her accomplishments and incredible abilities took even more hidden work than I thought. The world is a better place with Kristy in it. While I can't understand what it is like to live with disabilities, I can greatly appreciate all her contributions. I can't thank get enough for sharing this insight and window info her life.
