This is an excellent audiobook! It includes new trends in AI, like deep learning, highly suggested.

If you are into this theme and always wanted to get a rough overview, I would recommend this book. As it is always the case with non-fiction, I also recommend reading/get perspectives from other AI professionals as well, which I will do as the next steps.

Overall a good book

Overall, then,Artificial Intelligence is a good audiobook that suffers from massive blind spots. Think of it as a four or five-stars book.

Introduction to Artificial Intelligence

In the introduction to Artificial Intelligence, Neil Wilkins informs us that his book is not a comprehensive survey or history of AI and that's a bit misleading because the book in fact has unique historical aspects woven into the milestones that marked pivotal improvements.

Full of energy, and very charming. What might be considered name dropping in another author is readily forgiven, as he pulls us into the excitement of this rapidly developing field,

He finishes his book optimistically, describing the work he does at the Future of Life Institute he has founded. If you want to follow an enthrolling, captivating book on AI, choose this one. Not that it needs any promotion after it was praised by Elon Musk :).

The audiobook was neatly organized and gave good summaries about each chapter. The author did a good job in guiding the LISTENER through the technological landscape.
