Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
This felt like one of those books that I academically "should" listen to, but it did not have anything exciting or appealing about it.If you’ve listened to books by Anton Chekhov before, how does this one compare?
I have not really been impressed by Chekhov's work overall.Did the narration match the pace of the story?

Chekhov constantly ponder the question of older men taking advantage of younger women. In the one she get the upper hand and it is delightful.What was one of the most memorable moments of 'Anna Around the Neck' and 'A Trifle from Life'?
The change that Anna goes through from the meek and the mild girl who had to marry for money to save he family. To the matron of the house who realizes that her husband is more afraid of her than she is of him.Have you listened to any of John William Cawthorne’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes, and they are all excellently performed, he doesn't read books he acts them out.Who was the most memorable character of 'Anna Around the Neck' and 'A Trifle from Life' and why?

This is well worth the money I spent on it, which wasn't much.The best interpretation of Chekhov I have heard.
