Famed leftfielder Barry Bonds played 22 seasons of pro baseball. The son of an all-star major league player, Bonds inherited talent that he cultivated through disciplined practice. Having honed his skill, Bonds embarked on a storied career full of spectacular statistics. Despite his successes Bonds’ career ended in scandal over charges of steroid abuse and related acts of perjury and obstruction of justice.
