Nebenbei ist sie lizensierte Vampirhenkerin und Beraterin der Polizei in übernatürlichen Kriminalfällen. Die knallharte Arbeit, ihr Sarkasmus und ihre Kaltschnäuzigkeit haben ihr den Spitznamen "Scharfrichterin" eingebracht. Auf der Jagd nach Kriminellen lernt die toughe Anita nicht nur, ihre paranormalen Fähigkeiten auszubauen - durch ihre Arbeit kommt sie den Untoten auch oftmals näher als geplant. Viel näher.
