The author also explores evidence of advanced medicine in ancient times, particularly in Egypt and China, from brain surgery, optometry, and prosthetics to dentistry, magnet therapy, and cancer cures.

interesting stuff. good book. it did take a while for me to get into it though.

excellent book, a real standout. Plenty new for even the jaded fan of this and related genres.

Interesting, but this narrator?

The plural of bridge is not bridgeses. This plus many other mispronunciations like it, and SO many misused words, lead me to believe the reader is either a robot or a 12 year old with an incredibly deep voice. No doubt the book would be much better with a different narrator.
