Callie and the Gulls Nest are back in the spotlight when a high-profile guest books a room at the bed-and-breakfast. But time in a new city helps her see details about the murder in a different light, and Callie finds herself pulled back into the investigation. Will her involvement be enough to catch the killer before they slip away for good?

I was excited when I heard Eryn Scott had a new series coming out. Both the author Eryn Scott and narrator Jennifer Jill Araya kept me invested from the start. I enjoyed this book from start to finish.
Jennifer Jill Araya did a fabulous job and certainly kept me captivated. This was a a book filled with secrets and lies. The intrigue and suspense kept me on the edge of my seat as I listened to this story.
There were a few twists, turns and surprises in Unexpected Vacancy as Callie Norris follows the clues and I have to say that I was taken by surprise on a couple of occasions.
