Long awaited, but much enjoyed

After reading the first two Nick Mason novels, I looked forward to the third in the series and it did not disappoint... well paced with great characters...

The Nick Mason Novels are Fun

The main plot of this book, not so much. But it does set up a nice sequel from the 2ndary plot. I will be keeping an eye out.

Ray Porter does an amazing job reading this book.

I absolutely loved this book and I can't wait for another one to come out.

Been Waiting a Long Time for this book

I love these Nick Mason books. I was delighted to see that the author finally wrote a third installment. It does not disappoint.

Drop off in quality

The biggest strength of this series was taken away by going international. The stories were much better when it was focused on Chicago.

The setting in Indonesia was very interesting.

I disliked the F$$$ word used took often by the main character. The reader was talented but the delivery seemed to be overly dramatic

Ray porter does a very good job reading. Now have to wait for book 4.

Another kind of Good Guy!!!

I read this book first now I want to read books 1-2! Mason is an assassin however with a good sense of right and wrong. He’s complex which makes the book enjoyable. I loved that I wasn’t able to figure everything out and a few crucial elements were a surprise at the end. I had suspicions but it was delightful to see how they played out. I hope this series continues for many more books!!!!

Honorable Assassin

Just not at the same caliber as the first two books, which I loved. This one almost felt like a short story that was elongated. Yet when I thought the main character could get out of the fix he was in, he did!! So it was entertaining.

Ehhh

I had been waiting for the book since the last one came out but the author switched publishers and all the headaches that come with that so I guess after all that waiting my expectations were really high. It wasn’t bad but after waiting 7 years I thought it would be better. The story is short on character building in the beginning then really sags in the middle but comes through in the end. Ray Porter as always was amazing.
