Charity has finally made the decision to re-join the Amish community, finding her Amish clothes a comfort instead of a hindrance.
Slowly coming to terms with her infertility, Charity decides to carry on with her midwifery, looking forward to meeting Beth's baby when the time comes.
Charity finds herself drawn to a particular man in the Amish community. However, she can't stop worrying about what her infertility might mean for any relationship she may have. If she tells the truth, will it push him away from her? Will she be brave enough to trust him with her heart?
This is book three in the Plain and Simple Midwife series, but the storyline can be picked up in this book. The first book, An Amish Midwife, starts Charity's story as a midwife to the Plain and Simple Community.
