Great storyteller

This is the third course I've listened to by Hudson, and I always love his presentation style. Perhaps because he's a boxing judge as well as a scholar, he narrates these accounts of sports triumphs with the cadence of a sports broadcaster, one with a firm grasp of the historical context behind each of these victorious moments. His articulate descriptions really draw you in and fill you with awe for the hugeness of these accomplishments, even if--like me--you're not a huge sports person.

Hudson is a gifted storyteller. He captures the essence of these sports icons, including why they were great off the field. Highly recommend this course for any one interested in history, sports, or just looking for an interesting way to pass the time over the holidays.
