Touched My Heart

great series

I have read/heard 3 books far. each cam be a stand alone. great writing and audio.

Excellent Series

This is a well written series. Complex characters, psychological depth, and informative, well paced, clever plots. The author is now on my "follow" list and I hope to read more in the future. I especially like the quotes from Parnell's diary that head the chapters. It helps me keep my place.

Must be patient to listen toBarbara's books!

Barbara weaves an intriguing story and it takes time to build. The narrator is good but sometimes a bit monotonous. I was able to figure out the ultimate bad person well before the identity was revealed (the name was the giveaway). The first book was still the best for me.

What I did not care for in this book was that the well-trained Marines were consistently out-maneuvered, even when they were prepared. I know that there has to be dramatic points but always having the highly skilled good guys constantly caught off-guard got a bit old.

There were some good surprises in this story and it did not finish in a completely predictable way. I am looking forward to the next book in the series which is set to be released in March of 2020.

Loved this audio book. Looking forward to number 4, even though this book seems to close out the first trilogy. Looking forward to another one.

love this series

for the past several years Barbara Nickless has been my favorite author-- both in my Kindle e-reader app and now audible. the narrator does a great job with the characters, tempo, and timing in her reading of the text. this is a great addition to my library that I will re-read and re-listen to time and time again.

I did not see THAT coming. Every single book gets better. I love this series. Action packed from page one to the last page.

Great series

This is a very good, and exciting series. Mostly about good verses evil, and the tolls that the military takes, and keeps forever.

Another very good suspense

I really enjoyed all the books so far in the series. I believe I have one more to go. This author has created excellent suspenseful thrillers. She describes what needs to be detailed and does it in such a way that the story is excellent. The amount of research that she has had to put into these books is unbelievable. I look forward to the next one.

Fantastic

This is number 3 in the Sydney Rose and Clyde story. And what a story. Barbara keeping writing these stories, I think you get better with each one. I have read the 3 books, and listen to the 3 books. Believe me, you can not go wrong with these books.
