Love-Hate Story

I fell in and out of love with this book. I like the sophisticated characters that are more complicated than found in your typical romance book. There was emotional growth on the part of the FC and MC that slowly developed into a mature love.
The FC was pretty snarky but darkly humorous at times. The MC and his quietness was a good balance to her and he grew on you especially after you meet his family. Add in some well-done Irish accents and it was a good listen.
What I didn't like about it and this is personal, is the divorce portion of the story and that is only because I have been through it. I didnt really like rehashing someone else'e misery but that came to a positive conclusion..not so sure how realistic that is ..but was part of the HEA.

Strong female presence and very fun storyline. I highly recommend this book. It’s a fun read. Can’t wait to read more from this author

Nothing like an Ali Rosen romance for a delightful escape from my daily commute. The characters are always relatable and entertaining. I love how much she draws you in, just rooting for the main character throughout the read!

Entertaining and thought provoking

This novel included well developed characters and a fascinating story. It is a romance complicated by the past, present life complications, and the settings in both NYC and Ireland. It is a perfect way to spend the day with excellent narration by Maria Marquis. The characters are real people with real modern day life issues, friendships, and happy times.

Love it!

This is a great book. Got me in all the right places and the mix of dry humor and life is wonderful.
