Mysterious story with a great ending to sum it all up!

The characters were all great in this story, and the portrayal by the narrator was also great. There was some good suspense that kept me wanting to keep listening, but also wanting to know what would happen with the characters. The twist at the end was my favorite part of the book, but you have to listen to find out! This was also my first novel to listen to and I am very pleased.

Loved the Fortune Teller!

This is such a unique way to tell a story- it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole way through! ‘Moonwalker’ is still in my head and likely will be for awhile!

The story is very immersive and the character voices are clear throughout the book. Tania Mannion's narration draws you in and makes you want to keep listening to see what is going to happen next.

Interesting Thought Experiment

This story blurs the line between dementia and fantasy for an adventure in time and addresses the idea of someone making a choice that then propels them down the “right” path for their life.

The narrator did a great job with the tone of the book and voicing the different characters! It was easy to know who was talking and the audio was clear.

Just a note - there is gratuitous casual use of the racial slur for the Romani people. I myself was only made aware that this word was a slur a short number of years ago and it was used a lot in pop culture and American life as I grew up so it may be that not everyone knows that it IS a slur. Something to keep in mind if you wish to listen.

Sweet, Heartbreaking, Touching story with a twist!

Loved the characters, and the story itself was very touching, heartbreaking in parts but not to worry… has a very surprising ending that I did not quite see coming! Made me very happy. Performance was great! Would recommend!

Horror

Love the horror feeling, The suspense makes this book a must listen. The narrator and author does a great job. Excellent book to listen to. Overall 5 star.
