Breaking the rules to follow what's right

When Elin stands up to her elders.. not with anger, but with calm, clear courage and says, sometimes the right path isn't the one they teach you.. i think this is one of the best parts in the audiobook. It made me realize how often we shrink ourselves to fit old rules or expectations. But Elin's quiet defiance? it's a reminder that real strength is in standing firm in your truth, even when it makes others uncomfy.

A Magical Adventure We Loved Together

Listening to Allies of the Willow with my child was a truly special experience. The story’s mix of thrilling adventure, strong friendships, and a brave heroine who challenges the rules kept us both completely engaged. Elin’s journey through the magical Songwillow trees sparked great conversations about courage and standing up for what’s right, making it more than just a fun listen. The vivid world-building and fast-paced action made it perfect for our family listening time, and we’re already excited to continue the series!

My son loved it

The story is full of action, heart, and just the right amount of mystery. I loved seeing him so engaged with a strong, thoughtful story about standing up for what’s right. Perfect for adventurous kids who like fantasy and fast-paced storytelling :)

a fun ride

I just wanted to say how impressed I am with Allies of the Willow! The world the author has created among the Songwillow trees feels so vivid and alive—it’s such a fresh take on elven fantasy. Elin is a fantastic protagonist: brave, stubborn, and full of heart. I love how the story doesn’t shy away from big themes like defiance, loyalty, and finding your own path, all while maintaining a thrilling and accessible pace for younger listeners.

I'm Hooked!

This series is always fast-paced and fun middle graders! The world-building is amazing and I love how it still has heart, amongst the twists and turns. A great series for my daughter to enjoy, who thrives on audiobook stories!

a must listen fantasy series!!

Another phenomenal story in the series. I listened to Book 1 before this one but you can definitely start with this one first/read out of order. Immerse in another world of the willows interspersed with magic and different kinds. Young elves have everything at risk and everything within them to save the forrest and as many of the others. Another adventure that keeps you listening closely until the end!! I cannot wait for Book 3!! Don't think about it. Just start listening.

A wonderful story for kids

A delightful read for kids that will capture their imagination. There is plenty of adventure and action to go around in this fantastical read. I appreciated the friendship between the characters and the themes of standing up for one's beliefs. Great story overall.

A much-anticipated sequel

Following Fall of the Willow Books 1 and 2 comes a sequel adventure tailored for little ones, this time starring Elin, an elf unlike any other, with extreme physical abilities, even more impressive than her friend and previous main character, Johan! Her extraordinary skills sometimes get her into trouble (like the encounter with the monster), but she always picks herself up, does what she has to do, and keeps searching for her place in the world and where she wants to go.

This is Book 2, while it’s better to start with Book 1, nothing stops you from understanding and enjoying this one on its own. Once again, the narration is perfect! I noticed slightly more complex vocabulary this time, making it a great continuation for readers who want to keep building their language skills.

Great Story

This book is just fun...you are routing for the main character from the beining. It's filled with emotion, mystery, and magic. And the architypical pattern of the hero journy shines through with virtious lens. There themes of communinty, sacrifice, and morality. My takeway, if you're looking for a great story...get this book.

Fast and action packed!

This was a fairly quick listen and its action packed from start to finish. If you want a good book that has good character development and doesn’t waste a lot of time to ramp up the plot, then this book is for you.
