lovely almost romance

A pleasant listen. mostly predictable with a couple of nice turns and some charming characters. perhaps not the deepest book you'll ever read, but warming and refreshing.

AAA story with AAA voices

An amazing follow-up to A Strange and Stubborn Endurance. Same voice actors, same couple, different harrowing adventures and brand new steamy sections. I do so hope that there will be a 3rd installment, but this series is absolutely going in my top 3

A wonderful twisting trip through a delightful maze

This whole series will be on my eternal rotation bookshelf. The wordsmithing was absolutely marvelous; the romance just right.

I love this book. I’m actually excited to read the series a 2nd time. I love Cae and Vel. I wish we could have more stories!

My Heart Books

This series is honestly one of the most well written, thrilling, steamy, heart wrenching, hilarious, moving series I have ever had the pleasure of reading. I rarely write reviews of any kind but I felt I had to. The character development is fantastic, the representation of all kinds of people makes you feel at home no matter who you are. I sincerely hope that more of Meadow’s books are added to audible. I will surely be listening to these books for years to come. As a queer individual myself, I felt so many things I have never gotten to feel out of a book before. And the narrators do a wonderful job bringing each and every character to life. 100000/10 do recommend.

I really enjoy these books, the plot always hits and I’m never bored and I adore that the author never feels the need to tell me Vel is smart, it is SHOWN through his thought process and actions (cough cough looking at u unnamed TikTok famous dragon riding book main character👀)

There is… a continued theme of everyone’s outfits being described in intense detail, which on very few occasions has held plot/character significance. Same with the food…which they eat a lot… (im currently calorie counting which is evil and the food descriptions in these books are also evil) it doesn’t seem to have much purpose other than like… an insane amount of specific world building.

Or for the meal to be interrupted like people be KNOCKING on doors during meals next listen through I’m gonna tally (and there def will be a relisten at some point I’m sure)

Or one very specific plot point in this book (which is a good one !!)

A million plus points for james fouhey who always sounds amazing and minus one point for vikas adams, he puts his all into it, im just not the biggest fan of his performances BUT the tithenai chronicles are amazing enough that i still re listened to book one in prep for book two 🙌

I'm addicted to this entire universe. the political atmosphere, the people/characters, the horses. all of it is living in my head rent free but none more than our mcs. ugh I love them

Spicy Gay Political Fantasy

Ugh so good.
I didn’t know I would be so interested in a gay side pairing to the gay MCs but WOW, obsessed with Spicy General and Az. It’s giving Captive Prince Pet vibes.
I could read a million more of these books.
