the accents that was used for TJ sound like count Dracula. the rest was great.

Great story,good plot,& characters . Horrid narration. Had to give up.Too hard to listen to .

Great flow and non-stop action!!

Well written series that never leaves you bored, that's for sure. The story flows well and continuously with a TON of action. Well detailed and explained without getting monotonous. The narrator does a very good job of varying the nuances of vocalizing the difference characters (for the most part), and the narrator. The use of a female voice for the female characters was nicely done as well. I thoroughly enjoyed this series, as I have everything I have read from Isaac Hooke. Highly recommend!!

Hooked on Hooke!!!

Gave "Caterpillar" a listen and was craving more of this great story telling. I am looking forward to getting a few more of his Audio books, because of all the driving I do.

love the series, not the narrator

I really like the work that Isaac Hooke does. all of his books are well thought out and researched. This one is no exception. Unfortunately, I really struggled with the narration here. There was a lack of inflection and tone that really took away from an otherwise great set of books.

Story is good, performance is weak

The narrator really isn't good. All of his voices are the same, and he mumbles. It's hard to understand him. The feminine voiced narrator was always the same droning monotone as well. Voice acting cannot be an afterthought, folks. It's all you get to tell the story!

A great trilogy for only one credit!

I already had the first two books on their own but was happy to pick up the third as part of an omnibus edition that has all three... for one credit you get mechs, moths, marines, aliens, fleet battles, ground battles, nukes, bioengineered weapons, nano machines and more. This collection is a great deal for all three books. Rade and his crew of moths (elite mech pilots) discover a hostile alien force and battle it across various terrains, planets and systems. It all come to a head in the 3rd book with much revealed that was only hinted at. Great for anyone who loves sci-fi, space epics and great military style battle scenes. Loved this! Alien War exceptional

Held my attention (a must as a professional truck driver). Doesn’t get any better than this.

Mechs and combat!

I have tried other books that delt with Mechs or battle suits, but they didn't quite hit the mark or make you get what it would be like. This series does it!! Bravo!.

Another great series

Alien War is another great series by Isaac Hooke. The audible version is very entertaining and well narrated. I look forward to listening again while traveling.
