Was good

The story was good, but by the last two books I was ready for it to be over. I liked the characters and storyline but there were times things seemed unnecessary. Final battles were anti climactic, fast and easy. Part of me doesn't mind that, as I liked following their day to day. But I'm glad it ends here, good stopping point. I wouldn't mind revisiting the characters.

Exceptional

Fantastic story , extremely well written. Narration was perfectly done. Looking forward to more from Mr. Rothman.

Fun but disappointed

Good story but I’ve spent to much time with the mechanics of how the magic worked and less on the lore or other characters I didn’t like the lack of the roles of the females in this book. But I did enjoy the story overall

Epic Fantasy

The four books will provide a reader/listener with a fantastic fantasy that throws a curve into the first book that has you scratching your head until you realize this is a big story.

The humor was well placed to help slow down the tension building action. I find it hard to write stories with excellent timing of humor, yet Rothman has figured out the magic of being able to time it just right.

I hope, if you choose these books, that you will get and many laughs and a high level of enjoyment out of them as I did.

Couldn't stop it. I was caught up in the story.

I really liked the way all the people came together to defeat the common enemy.

Very good story

Both my husband and myself really enjoyed this story. It has so many different parts to it. Good vs evil, good heroes, magic, dragons, and even a love story. Was so interesting didn’t want it to end. All four books are great. It was great entertainment on a trip together.

The story was awesome.

I liked everything about it, the melding of events and characters was great. I have listened to the books multiple times already.

for a science guy, this author has a great view on the fantasy world. and what a story teller. this whole series was a bed time story for his kids.

Love this series

My inner child went bonkers when the dragons hatched! So much fun. I loved all the science and the use of metals and crystals!

I just LOVED this whole story.

A tale of destiny, prophecy, magic, and bravery. To keep it short and sweet, this story was very enjoyable, The performance was extremely well done, which absolutely can make or break an audible experience. This was one of those stories where it just kept getting better until the final battle of good vs evil. Sorry, No spoilers, I love when I find a good pick from my Audible Plus library. I always find great authors I haven’t yet read, which opens a doors to worlds un explored I’m an escapist and I just love it!!! Now I get to look through all of Rothmans books and visit his worlds, I cant wait!
