Content great; music terrible

Such impactful and important content, but the music is so horrible I almost discontinued reading.

Great message interspersed with terrible music

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Overall, yes, but only because I could use the fast forward button to skip the terribly annoying music inserted at far too many locations.

Trust that I will read reviews first this time for his productions - similar musical disturbances would be a deal-breaker.

Even as bad as the music is, if it were short little 10-15 second bursts it might be tolerable, but 1 to 3 minute clips??? Really??? What ever were you thinking???

I danced through this book!

Between the profound message in the chapters and the upbeat music after each chapter, I found the book truly enlightening. Dr. Chopra confirms most of what I believed already. I love the science-backed thoughts and ideas regarding the body. We are what we believe!

Wisdom flows

The author as narrator is so inspiring ! Enlightenment and hands- on practices for his followers while sipping the contents

When I Seek Direction I always go back to Deepak…this book is the best for my serenity ‘

Life’s emotional and physical challenges can be daunting. In the modern world this world that Deepak explores and reminds us of is absolutely the best for ones direction. The way we run our lives actually affects the longevity in our long-term health. This book captures this spirit and puts it into easy to understand and actions that are meaningful and bring us peace.

Dumb song!

The book was fine but the insanely annoying song that played at the end of every chapter really takes you out of it.

I love Deepak

I love him, I have been reading his books for quite a long time now, I couldn't wait to hear this book on audio. I liked it except for the hideous music!! Way to much if it, and it was in bad taste! I'm so dissipointed.... And the music wasn't in small segments, had to endure the whole dumb song...constantly! Now I'm afraid to buy any new books from him. I still love him though and love his messages. This was just not a good choice.

Great, except for the music

This was such a fascinating book, and I love the voice of Deepak. He reads his book the best. I am completely unclear why they insisted on introducing the very annoying music so many times during this reading. I had to stop the track and fast forward through the music so I could start listening to Deepak again. I really wish somebody would re-record this and delete the music. It doesn’t actually match the content anyway.

The most important book you’ll ever read

I read this book 30 years ago when I was 19 and it changed the trajectory of my life and my aging process without doubt. During the pandemic I began to lose my way, my body began to fail of the typical ailments that they attribute to old age. I purchased this audio and listening to it just once, again has restored me to a good path that cannot quickly be understood but with practice and re-listening and reflection can be had by anyone. Sure the music transitions are a little bit wonky but even they can be used as an exercise and acceptance.
