Opposites attract and the heat sizzles!

They say opposites attract. That has never been more true than Lysander and his obsession with Bianka. He is one of the 7. An Angel warrior. He is a rule follower, he has never been kissed and he just cannot fathom Bianka and all she does. Everything about her intrigues him. Bianka is a harpy who has to steal to eat, breaks her own bones for fun and uses sex as a weapon, among everything else available. She is his complete opposite in every single way and yet he still cannot get her out of his head. Do onto others takes on a new meaning when Lysander is stupid enough to kidnap her and take her to his cloud. Now she is a bit obsessed with taking this Angel in to temptation. Heads will roll!

NOT What you think!

The book repeats the previous book about Lysander & Bianca stopping in the exact same place! Then moves into a totally different different story with no discernible connection to the series. Unlike the previous book which warns you that there are 2 other stories in it by other writers. Not something I would have purchased if I had known. Though the story was okay it falls short with a wait for the next episode ending. Not the kind of thing I like without a good build up and history of Characters involved.

Two stories in one

The Darkest Angel was a lovely short story in the Lord's of the Underworld series. Shadow Hunter was a new series (?) for me. Warning, it does end on a major cliffhanger.

TWO DIFFERENT STORIES - ONE COMMON THEME.... LOVE

I will review these two novellas separately but I must confess that I bought it solely for GS's story but (or and ? I can't decide!) as I'd never heard of Kait Ballenger before I thought this would be a good second listening experience.

The Darkest Angel - Well in this sexy, funny, well written and very entertaining listen Gena proves that opposites can attract and, like Adam and Eve, you just can't fight forbidden temptation. Lysander (Angel) and Blanka (Harpy) turn their mutual dislike into desire followed quickly by lust and eventually love but sassy Blanka has a lot of fun getting there. It had a few short references to Aeron and his Angel Olivia from The Darkest Passion and Paris makes an appearance too from her LOTU series but BEWARE this too short, but nevertheless brilliant book, was in Heart Of Darkness anthology.

Shadow Hunter - is about an elite group of genetically enhanced vampire fighters called The Execution Underground and in particular Damon who's one of it's members seeking revenge for his team-mate's death. Unfortunately (or fortunately - glass half full question) so is his team-mate's little sister Tiffany and she's not so little any more and he just can't keep his hands off her as his desire grows. This captivating prequel to the Execution Underground series is packed full of world-building action, suspense, twists, secrets, revelations, fighting, seduction, romance and, of course, all set around the common goal of revenge but sadly, for one of them, things don't always go to plan.

Worth a credit? Two exciting paranormal romance stories in one listen.... errr that would be a YES and a YES.

Lysander

Loved this pairing of characters! Bianca is a hoot. Love the Harpee sisters. Well, maybe not the eldest but Gwen, Bianca and Kaia are great. Wouldn’t mind Lysander’s fellow angel warrior Zak having a book.

Wow, both stories amazing

Gena’s lord of the underworld was brilliant as usual if you are not a fan your missing out , and wow what a fantastic new author to hit the scenes in Kait Barranger, the hero is a hot sexy smartass warrior whom I completely fell in love with. There is just the right mix of humor and action. The bedroom scenes had me fanning myself, thinking is it hot in here, the heroine was not the usual princess in need of rescue, instead she is a queen who got this shit handeled.
Both stories were great reads
Five stars for both ladies!!! And I hope to see more from both, kait you have a new fan !!!
