I had to get this book after reading her Parable book. Again she describes each person and their part in the Bible at a kid’s level. She also includes a section where they have choices everyday that are similar to the tests given these men of God. She gives insight on what they can learn from the Biblical men -both good decisions and not so good. Great teaching opportunities with your kids.

Great book for children and youth in general. So needed in today’s world!

Bedtime stories in our house are a special time to connect and learn. But finding stories that are both entertaining and teach good values can be tough. That's why I love this book, It brings the Bible's heroes to life in a way that's both exciting and inspiring for my children. It isn't just a collection of names and dates. Each chapter dives into the story of a different hero, like Noah and his ark, or David facing the giant Goliath. The stories are full of adventure and suspense, but they also highlight the importance of faith, courage, and making the right choices. The chapter on Noah particularly resonated with my kids. They were fascinated by the idea of building a giant boat to save the animals. It sparked a conversation about listening to God and following his plan, a message that felt important to share.

Heros of the bible!

Just finished "Adventures in Scripture for Kids" with my niece! It's a fantastic audiobook for ages 8-12. Narrator Rachael Doolen brings the Bible's heroes to life with exciting stories. We learned all about brave guys like David and Daniel, and how their faith helped them overcome challenges. It's a great way to spark conversations about faith, good choices, and what it means to be a hero. Bonus: it's under 2 hours, perfect for bedtime or road trips!

Refreshing reminder and great guide!

This is a great book summing up great men of the bible. For me as a Christian, it was a great reminder of some of the stories and lessons from the bible, making me want to go read the bible again. For kids it is a great guide, not only telling the bible stories, but also highlighting the moral choices made and giving modern examples to help kids make the same types of loving (and sometimes hard) choices in their lives. I am looking forward to checking out other books in this series :).
