Another amazing story

Ozzie and Pete have so many ups and downs you can’t help but root for them till the very end. This story has it all – love, tragedy, suspense and everything in between. My one criticism, being from Massachusetts, is that the narrator pronounced over half of the towns referenced in the book incorrectly. Other than that another hit!!

A first for me, but not the last!

Pete is caught in a dangerous situation when Alpha State Trooper Ozzy comes to his rescue. Ozzy, immediately taken with Pete wants more than to just save the day in this fast paced Mpreg romance, he wants to be the Alpha to Pete’s Omega. Filled with action, adventure, intrigue, mystery, and heat, love might come fast, but it doesn’t come easy for this couple. Between various and sundry criminals, cops, robbers and family members, each with their own agenda, the odds are stacked high and it might take a miracle or three for that happy ending! Adrenaline Rush is beautifully written with smooth flowing dialogue and a interesting, clear concise plot that I had no issues following. This genre was completely new to me but Aiden Bates left me with no unanswered questions. What made this experience even more enjoyable was the narration. I absolutely loved the narration! The voices for the two male leads were so different and so suited to their personalities. The voice for Pete’s mother could not have been more perfect! Just the right amount of snooty! I loved it! I loved everything about this one! Five fantastic stars!

Good story with a caring alpha

This has always been my favorite book of the Cold Case Squad series. Pregnant omegas finding a loving alpha are not very common in mpreg stories, and Pete is especially likable with his steel backbone and indepence, while Ozzy is endearing and lovable with his kind, mellow personality and his devotion to Pete. The book is entertaining with its moments of action, reading like a cop procedural, and the villain is credible. The narration did not go as smoothly as I would have liked. The perfomer's voice was very pleasant to hear, and the characters were recognizable, however, the actor tended to emphasize the last word of every sentence, falling into a rythm that threw me off, and it also made the physically intimate scenes between the MCs not exactly sexy to listen to. The perfomer made the investigative parts of the book sound realistic, like a cop show, but did not hit the emotional tones the love scenes needed, and it ruined the mood for the romantic setting. Overall, I enjoyed the book in parts, with the police work being exciting, but the romantic parts were a definite miss for me.

Okay, here we go: I have never, EVER changed my feelings about a character as thoroughly as I did with Ozzie... twice! *dies laughing*

I loved the building of this story, how the romance is constructed slowly and carefully, I love how realistic the portrait of pregnancy is. And I'm still loving the setting in a Cold Cases Unity.

But... I wanted to cause severe bodily damage to Ozzie after Marisa was born. Really, really badly! But he later won me over again, because he's such an oblivious alpha, more focused on external dangers that on what's going on with his omega...

I love that Peter is such a resourceful and strong character, I love how he thinks ahead and how he is ready to assure his daughter safety, even when he is going on through some really rough times.

So yes, I really, really enjoyed this story, and, as a last thought? I really hope that, when Nancy 's time comes (sorry if I'm misspelling his name, I haven't read it!), he will pay dearly for all his macho bulls**t :P

A contuning enjoyable series

Pete & Ozzie are a great couple. Their up's and downs. along with the dismissive and prejudicial attitudes of some of their family, so called friends, etc. made for some rather dislikeable areas but that is what we all have to deal with in this world that we live in. But over all it made for a very interesting listening experience. Mr. Bate's character development and the story line flowed very well. I always enjoy listening to and or reading one of this Authors books. Mr. Bates has a away of developing his characters that to me always seem life like and believable. that's why he is one of my auto buy Author's. I hope that you get the opportunity to be able to sit down and spend an enjoyable evening listening to this really good Audible Book. Mr. Barney Parkwynne's narration added a lot of flair and enjoyment to the over all listening experience. An avid reader/listener in Rock Tavern, NY.

I am dying !!!!

This book is amazing, fun, sexy and sweet. Pete and Ozzy are so freaking cute I actually cried at parts and you know what I’m not even ashamed of that haha 💖

enjoyed all aspects of this listen from Aiden's words to Barney's narration. a wonderful way to wind down on my first day off of the week.

Another Great Story

Ozzy Morris is a cold case detective and also a member of the SWAT team. When participating in a response to a bank robbery turned hostage situation, he meets Pete, a pregnant omega. He cannot help but find himself attracted but his family objects as they get closer. Pete is sure no alpha would want a pregnant omega. Even his family tells him that. As if working with these disadvantages is not enough, the gun used the robbery turns out to be one used to murder a trooper 20 years ago. This give Ozzy the perfect excuse to get closer to Pete.

There is much going on in Adrenaline Rush. There is action, danger, conflict, and of course falling in love. Once started you will not want to stop. This one is very exciting and has more than a few twists.

The narration was wonderful and kept my attention through out.

This book is great! Low angst but you still feel for the characters. The narrator did a good job as well. I was able to follow between the characters easily. I would definitely recommend!
