Mixed bag ...

Good ending to the series, however the protagonist was extremely annoying in the final book. She was constantly “squaring her shoulders, crossing her arms over her chest and staring someone right in the eye” to tell them what to do. She continually puts other’s lives in danger because she’s impulsive and then when things don’t go her way, she throws little tantrums, yet she doesn’t tolerate similar behavior in others around her. She wasn’t very likable in this book.

The new narrator did a better job in this book than in the last. She didn’t sound quite as robotic as in book 2 and she was able to better delineate between characters this time as well, it was much more enjoyable.

Wowsers!

This was honestly a great book. On very few occasions it was predictable, but regardless, it was still amazing. I cannot believe I made it through all the series so quickly.

Better job narrating than book 2

Book two was difficult to listen to with the choppy robotic voice of the narrator, but she seems to have worked on that a bit. While not the best narrator ever, still a bit choppy, with odd inflections, it is significantly better than how book 2 sounded. So cheers to personal improvement, well done!

The perfect ending to an epic series.

Summary:

This was the perfect ending to this epic series. When fighting for your freedom, sometimes you have to to make strange bed fellows. Avlny and her twin Ben’s abilities are put to the test as the fight between the different communities comes to a head. Avlyn’s abilities to enter and manipulate computers is both frightening and fascinating. The struggle between the two factions left Avlyn and her group in the middle of the tug of war.

The audiobook brought their lives and struggles to life as their story unfolded.

Fantastic ending to the series

The final book in the configured series. This book answers answers you questions and toes up the series nicely. There was so much action and so many things happening, and never left you wanting for more. I enjoyed the series. Brittany did a great job with the narration.

Ending with closure

The story finally comes to an end. There is more action, romance, and my favorite closure! If you are a fan of the first 2 then this is a must listen/ read that way you can see if all your guessing was correct.

OK this is more like it

Seems book three back on track from book two that seemed off a bit. Avlyn still doing the stupid i have to save the world alone so no one get hurts but get people hurt, thing. But these seem reasonable and desperate time kind of things. In book two she just seemed to do these stupid moves just to be stupid.

For the most part I think the storyline is good in this book and wraps up most lose ends and side stories. It flowed a lot better than the second book and was almost as good as the first.

I would recommend the series and does have some good thinking points about humanity and power.

Very good adventure, action with a feel good vibe

A whole new world. Anyone can follow and enjoy teens to old farts will like the chases threw mine , cyber space and reality. With added message of good vrs evil.

Great Conclusion

I truly enjoyed this conclusion to the Configured Trilogy.
Jenetta Penner wraps up the story of Avlyn and her friends in an intriguing way. To say much more would spoil the story and the ending. I really liked how her ending was quite different from other books of similar nature. Each loss brought tears to my eye and each success brought me happiness. Don't miss the conclusion; the story is worth being told.
As with the books before it, the narrator is perfect. She has the right inflection capturing the mood perfectly.
