Amelia Lockhart is a curvy, self-sufficient, independent woman who loves adventure, flying, and the outdoors. She’s worked hard to build up her business and needs this mission from the Phoenix Corp. to make the final payment on her plane. When she takes off in inclement weather with a package to be dropped over Alaska, she has no idea her life as she knows it is over.
Carson Payne, a geneticist with the Northern Lights Genome Project (NLGP) is on the run. As a shifter, he feels that through science humans and shifters could find ways to work together in the future. But, after overhearing a conversation outside his lab, he realizes the company he works for has a different idea for the future. One where shifters rule. He takes off to Otter Cove in rural Alaska where his twin brother has a cabin.
The sound of the distinctive single-prop engine shattered the silence of the surrounding mountains. Only, there was something wrong with it; the engine was coughing and sputtering. As he located it high above him, dread furled low in his gut, and smoke streamed behind the plane.
What were the chances that a beautiful bush pilot would crash and require him to play hero? The buzzing in his head suddenly made sense. He supposed those odds increased dramatically when she was your fated mate.
Can a woman who lives for adventure and a man who prefers the quiet of a lab find something in common?

I really enjoyed this one I love carson and amelia they really packed a punch It kept me entertained I'm looking forward to the next one of this series.
