I've listened to several novela by this author, ..
. and all were 4 or 5 stars, but At Dawn, Book 4 in the FBI special agent Alex Troutt series, is disappointing. Author John W Mefford does not deliver the tightly written novel with a focused plot that I have come to expect from him. I do not plan to give up on Mefford because his novels I listened to before this one were high quality police procedurals. Jodie Bentley's narration is excellent.
