Fantastic Book to read and listen to

This Book and series are Fantastic. I Love to listen to this book and series. I Love the characters more. Must Read and Listen to book and Series.

A Vow of Love!

"A Vow to Love" is a very interesting story. It is a fairly short and quick read/listen. I listened to this on Audible and the narrator did a great job with this emotional read. The story is about Neil, Candy and the Friessens. Man these men are very frustrating. In this one a lie comes back to bite Neil and especially Candy. Trust is broken! Then the phone call about Becky brings the whole clan to her bedside. This is a good holiday story. I do want to smack Neil upside the head!

Great Read

A Vow of Love, A Friessen Family Christmas (The Friessens: A New Beginning #4) was a great read by Lorhainne Eckhart. This Christmas seems as though it will be a tough holiday season for The Friessens. Only thirteen days before Christmas, Candy opens a letter that came in the mail that was never meant for her. The letter was for her husband, and she discovers a lie that could ruin everything for them. Her heart is breaking and she is considering leaving. That is until they get a call that Neil’s mother, Becky, is fighting for her life. They all go to be at her bedside along with Neil’s siblings and their families. I enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.

Deeply emotional!!

A Vow of Love, an Audiobook by Lorhainne Eckhart is the story of Neil and Candy. There are already underlying issues between them. Then, even more things occur to escalate those issues…threatening their relationship. She discovers a HUGE lie/omission by Neil that she can’t get beyond. He doesn’t know she is aware of this….and can’t understand her increasing hostility and coldness to him.

A shocking, emotionally-charged story that caused tears to form in the corners of my eyes. Highly charged, hugely emotional, and a wonderful story overall!!

This Audiobook was narrated by Valerie Gilbert. She puts so much emotion into her performance of this story that it made the emotional read even that much more heartbreaking!!! Excellent job!!

Human Frailty

This book draws you into the poor decisions and deceit that can tear marriages apart. We look at marriages of friends and family and judge the closeness of a couple and their joined past by what we see on the surface. Most of the time we are wrong. A thought provoking, tender book.

Resonated with; Great storyline

The book was dealing with a deep subject that is painful for many. I could relate to why he would go to such lengths to have a male child of his own. But secrecy will backfire 99% of the time. Great effort with a very difficult subject. I wanted to keep reading to see just how he would explain himself and prove he loved her. The narrative was a tad dull but overall it was a great listen.

How strong is your vow?

From an outside point of view Candy and Neil, seem to be a very happy couple. However, life is not that simple. Neil loves children but Candy can’t have any, so they had to adopt. The problem is, Neil had lied to Candy about their second adoption. As it turns out, the second child is his biological child. Candy finds out this information and her husband's betrayal may cause the end of their marriage. What will it take to keep family together, who may step up to help? Listen and find out…

The narrator was great; she had a unique voice for each character. She had made listening to this book very enjoyable.
