Sweet story

It is an easy listen. Sweet story. Perhaps a bit predictable, but fun, quick story. I will listen to the next in the series.

A charming Escape

I enjoyed the narrators voice. The story line was something new. The characters charming and relatable. I hope to find more of her stories to listen to.

Good

This was such a good book. Happy and sad all twirled together and alot to take away from such a short story. Definitely worth reading.

A Lovely Story

This was a lovely story that addressed several serious issues with tact and realism. It seemed to go by quickly and I looked forward to my daily listen. I am going to start the next book in the series right now!

Better than front cover suggests

A lovely book with positive insights and messages for the human condition. The cover suggests something light and it is an easy and charming read with some very interesting insights.

Underwhelming

It was a bit slow, a bit drama heavy, and a bunch of characters who wouldn’t talk to each other about important stuff. It was ok, but glad it was free for me.

Depressing

Ok they are both broken people, I get it and it is admirable about how they support each other. But the FMC never let's her pain go or attempts to get passed it. She is such a weak person, cowardly. That is expected at the beginning of course but she never develops instead she just wallows in her misery and tragedy and it is incredibly depressing tokep reliving it with her. in the very least 2 min there is a HEA but the romance is fleeting. We are told about their happy moments but the audience does not experience it. 😕 The writing is lovely but the story was too painful for a romance novel.

Great read

I love finding books with some depth to them that don’t depend on sex and profanity. This was a story with serious issues, great narration and decent values all wrapped up in an entertaining read.

Outstanding Holiday Story!

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the story and the writing. This is not a read-and-forget holiday distraction.  This story brought me close to tears several times, yet it is a true holiday story, Very worthy read/listen!
