Incredible!

Abigail Wilson had me so entranced by this story. The flow of the story, the imagery, the poetic descriptions that make you feel like you are right there watching everything transpire, I greatly enjoyed it all. Laura Kirman read the book in a way that was also very captivating. The changes of emotion in her voice were so perfect that I felt my heart racing at the more mysterious, intriguing, parts. This book is the perfect mixture of romance and mystery without compromising the clean aspect of this book-- which I so appreciated. Would definitely read/listen again!

Well written mystery

The author did a great job of keeping you guessing. I also enjoyed the old time period and that it took place in Britain.

Classic Mystery. Top Tier Narration.

A classic! This novel kept me on the edge of my seat with anticipation in various ways. This is the first time I've read/listened to a book from this author — overall, I really enjoyed it! I love the way it was written, I could stay engaged with the story without being shell shocked into staying. As for the narrator.. Somebody give her a raise!! Phenomenal! Her performance + accent = perfect fit for the characters/background of this book. The narration definitely contributed to my enjoyment of this book. I will be purchasing more books from this author in the near future. I highly recommend!

Great Narration

A well crafted mystery with a sweet, clean love story. Narrator was superb. Thoroughly enjoyed!

Murder Mystery, Some Romance

This was a very creative story with subtle but ongoing second chance romance. All while there are multiple mysteries to be solved and the entirety of the story to get to it; clue by clue gets put together by our main characters. The murderer was an interesting surprise! There is heavy content though, including multiple murders involving characters we get to know throughout the story... Can't say I enjoy that. There are also a lot of French politics if that interests you. I held out for the romance and resolution of the various mysteries, which were all summed up very well. It was a long time getting there is all. Narrator does great with all the various characters!

Another perfect audible book

Abigail Wilson's books are so descriptive and captivating to the very last word. Love the narrator!

Intriguing, plausible story from beginning to end. The narrator did a great job! Loved the main characters.

Sad at points but filled with powerful emotions and it shows that you never really know what people are capable of.

I honestly didn’t expect to get so swept up in this story! I had a hard time not turning it on whenever I was alone! Even sitting in my car for an hour after I got home so that I could hear who the murderer was!!! I highly recommend this book!!!
