Acerca de esta escucha
Angels walk among us, but so do other unearthly beings in this brand-new series by the internationally best-selling author of the Anita Blake and Merry Gentry series.
Meet Detective Zaniel Havelock. A man who can talk to angels.
As an angel speaker, Zaniel once used his special gift to serve both the celestial beings and his fellow humans. But a terrible betrayal forced him to abandon that life. Now he's a cop working in the City of Angels.
But where angels walk among us, so do demons. And there's no question that there's evil at work when Zaniel is called to the murder scene of a college student. But is this just evil that one human being can do to another, or something more? When demonic possession is a possibility, even angelic protection can only go so far.
The race is on to stop the killer before he finds his next victim. But Zaniel is facing his own very personal demons and the past he never truly left behind....

"Wow! [This audiobook] has it all - a terrific new character, devious twists, plenty of action and one hell of an ending." (Jonathan Maberry, New York Times best-selling author of Ink and Rage)

Can you hear the angels?
A great read from a favourite. Angels, demons and spirit guides, what more is there?

wow
I liked the richness of the created world. It starts with the hero appearing as though he has chosen his path in life and is well grounded. Then the fabric of his personal space is ripped apart and people he has trusted from his childhood begin to appear sinister. Although this story ended satisfactorally there are a miriad of floating links to be followed up. I await the next book with impatience. I followed Anita and Merideth through a number of books before stopping reading. I felt in both cases that the author had been persuaded to continue writing after she herself had lost interest in the characters, rather like the Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris.
