A Squirrel's Tale

It was a dark and stormy night. Yes it's cliche. However, Dark and Stormy nights do occur and in the Southeastern US in late summer and early fall, they come along quite often. The wind oftentimes is not good. Hurricane winds can blow your house away and fell mighty oaks. Sometimes, the wind brings an education. This one brought a tiny baby squirrel into the lives of the author and his spouse. Fed with a bottle at first, and then with nuts and fruit, the little squirrel grew quickly to adulthood and was then released back into the forest.
