NEVER A DISAPPOINTMENT

Good, but a little disappointed
***Possible spoilers***
I thought the story was good, and some answers from the past were finally answered, which is great, but there is so much more left to say for this group...the story can't be over yet!
After everything that happened in the last book between Jack & Kate to have NOTHING in this book was so disappointing.
Ava is quite the character and I'm glad she turned out to not be Kate's bio mom...but, it felt like there was no follow up on her relationship with her real mom! Who happens to be a good friend of hers!
It just feels unfinished and I hope there is more to come from this series!

I struggled with this one
this was an overall enjoyable book, and I liked that we finally feel some sense of resolution in parts of Kate's story. but I struggled with the rapid drama and quick changes and the multiple shock factor surprises. but the characters are lovable

Thoughts on this book
I really love Jude Deveraux 's character. development and find her books entertaining. I have enjoyed the Medlar Mysteries. I did find some things in the story line confusing. I am hoping there are more in the series, since I don't feel the Kate and Jack storyline has been resolved as I think it should.

Love the Medlar Three!
Although the number of murders in a small town in Florida is unrealistic lol, I love the dynamic between Sara, Kate and Jack. My one complaint - why in the world does Jack have a southern accent? It gets annoying. Probably because there's only one narrator, and the stories would sound so much better with a male narrator added. Jack's voice contradicts how you want to picture him. I lean towards reading crime/police procedurals. This is a nice variation. A lighthearted listen with murder mystery and good humor too. Excitedly moving on to #5.
