I liked this story. I thought that the main character was little to nice. I would have told my ex off and his girlfriend as well as the ex mother in law. But in the end it ended well and the only other thing I wished for was the detective have a little romantic evolvement with Jess.

A great cozy

This was a light fun cozy mystery. Just as good if not better than the first book. The narrator has done a great job.

I liked this book more than the first. I tend not to like characters who are too nice or too forgiving of their ex when the ex is being even more of a selfish jerk, but it didn't bother me enough to stop listening. The mystery was good and the ending unexpected. I enjoyed this cozy

Fun cozy!

This is a fun cozy with great characters. I love this series and I can’t wait to see where it goes next.

Cute series

This book is the second in the cozy series. I think i missed things, but the book generally explained the history. The story was good and ended abruptly so I’ll have to read the others to find out what happens. The narrator is very good with different accents etc.

Literally nothing ever happens ... ?

This looked super cute and I love a good cozy but ... it turns out it has nothing going for it.

It's extremely slow-paced. To the point that 96 minutes into a 4-hour book, literally NOTHING had happened still. (This time noted because I felt like I'd been listening for hours, and looked. Imagine my surprise to discover it'd only been 96 minutes. Though as this is a large chunk of the book, that's still way too long to take to get going.)

Characters are not well-developed.

Performance-wise,
The narrator was painful to listen to—will avoid future productions with this one.
