Inspirational story

I didn't think I would like the story at the begining as Chad & Jess are very worldly & I couldn't figure how the christian aspect would come into the story. But it does! Jess' roommate, Emily, is the catalyst. I really loved her attitude & actions in the story. This is certainly a story high school, college, young adults or anyone should read to learn how not to act when on their own & how to act when something unwanted happens to you.

Happy ending against the odds

This is a story of the difference God can make on your life, despite any mistakes you make. great story!

Love of Christ can make all things possible!

This book was awesome. I cried with with happiness. The young lady in this story accepted Jesus. And her life had its hurdles, but in the end no regrets! Would definitely recommend this book!

Very Good Book

Lorana does a wonderful job narrating! I really enjoyed the story. It did a good job of bringing to light abuse and how it can affect our future decisions. It also covers being angry at and blaming God for things and how we need to not do that. This book is a book of redemption and it leaves you feeling good.

Wow

Ms. Hoopes has written another great book. What happens when your'e trying to escape a past that has turned you bitter. You have a roommate who is a Christian and nothing seems to upset her. In this book they seemed to do a lot of things they should not. But eventually they find God That's what happens with Jess and Chase. You need to know what makes them make the decisions they do. Great book and I highly recommend it.
I did receive a free code to get the book to hear it but not for the book itself. Its well worth paying for the book. She does a great job narrating the story. I gave this review of my own free will and honest opinion.

Beautifully written!

A Past Forgiven is such a wonderfully written inspirational book! I listened in one sitting. This story is about Jess who is now at college, has a chip on her shoulder, and a past that is pulling her down. She meets Chad who also is struggling as he is working through some things that have happened to him. Together, these two find the way to happiness. It's a story of love and forgiveness, new relationships and redemption and a new starts. Lorana Hoopes has such a great way of tackling difficult topics and showing how faith can help you through. It's a great listen narrated by the author herself, letting us feel each emotion as she intends. The story of hope and healing makes your heart fill with love.

Redemption Love

A love story that transforms a young girl from her abusive, addicted home to a wife and mother. Our past shapes who we are but Jess shows us how God can redeem and restore. This starts out as a college romance with a young couple doing their best to not have any emotional attachment both running from their past. In one year they are in a place no one expected them to be, a happy healthy relationship. Great listen, and discussion starter.
