Cozy love story

I loved this sweet romance between a barista and a police detective. The book moves through their relationship, and the challenges the main character feels based on her previous dating history. I enjoyed the story! I did not like the narrator's male character voices, but move past it as the story progressed.

OMG!! This is the loveliest book of the entire series!!!! This tells how Sabrina and David met. Just after a disastrous relationship with her bf Wally Tuttle, Sabrina closed herself up to even looking for another relationship. She wants someone who will put her first before anything else. Then into her coffee shop walls in a new detective, David Carlson. They seem to hit it off really well. Then he asks her out. She turns him down much to her mother's chagrin. Then they meet up accidentally a few days later while shopping. He convinced her to go on one date. Things take off from there!!
Stephanie Quinn is fantastic in her narration of this story and brings to life the characters!!

For those of us who love the cozy mysteries, but also love romance, this is our series. Now it is time to find out how those couples we love have met and become the families that walk in and out of the Daley Buzz Coffee Shop. Of course, the first one is about David and Sabrina.

This story was all about Sabrina growing emotionally from self-centered to us-centered. It is a good journey and I enjoyed it. I’m still smiling and that is the sign of a book well loved.

Narration: Stephanie Quinn does a beautiful job of providing the voice of Sabrina Daley.

Just the beginning

Nice Introduction to the characters for the series. Good background on the two main and supporting cast.

Finding Love

Sabrina was 24 and it was her birthday party minus her boyfriend. Wondering how to enjoy it when Wally wasn’t there. Sabrina works at the Daily Buzz coffee shop. Meeting men but having been burn she hesitate to try again. A good story showing there are two sides in love and romance. Good narration by Stephanie Quinn,.

SELFISHNESS VS. SELFLESSNESS

I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review

I loved the way Meredith made me feel as if Sabrina was being a true woman in the beginning and became a selfish shrew when it came to David. Wanting to give Sabrina everything within his means, David went to extremes to make her happy. It took a conversation with the self-centered alcoholic, ex-boyfriend to bring her to her senses. All-in-all, the book is well-written and the theme comes across very clearly.

The narration was good. Somehow, the woman narrator couldn’t get the tone right for the men.

A beautiful love story

After reading many of Stephanie and David’s future mysteries I wasn’t as excited about this one. It was a great book,but I like the mysteries better. If I had read this first, it would have segued into the rest of the series better. Great read,just wrong sequence! My fault not Merediths! Stephanie is her usual great voice! This should be read first! Another must read!😁

Sabrina & David!

After knowing Sabrina and David from the cozy mystery series I have listened to, I am so excited that I was able to see how it all began! Living through the tragedies that have happened at Treasure Cove, this brings it all full circle. Sabrina is a barista in her family coffee shop. David is a local police detective who has now enjoyed the coffee and is attracted to Sabrina. Just coming out of a relationship though Sabrina is hesitant. Will these two find their happily ever after? I fell in love with this couple from the start. Sabrina is a spunky woman, and she knows herself, except when it comes to David. David is much more in tune with where their relationship should go and his perseverance is appealing. It's a fun, romantic story, giving me the history of these two as well as a quick look at Treasure Cove. Little do these two know what is in store for them!!! Stephanie Quinn is Sabrina and David for me, and I am so glad she brought their love to life.

You can’t go wrong with Meredith Potts!

Of course it’s good it’s by Meredith Potts! There is something to be said about an author who all you have to do is see the book is written by her and you know it’s going to be good a fun solid read. Whether it’s mysteries or a love story if it’s by Meredith potts you can get the book grab your favorite blanket and some sweet tea and know your morning is planned. This book is no exception it is a second chance love story that you will fall in love with. I did I loved it but then again I love all of her books. The narrator of coarse did a great job as she always does.

Great clean story

Good storyline, great character build. Believable, interesting stoyline with likable and believable characters. Sabrina is getting tobknow Dave. The romance is blossoming. i enjoyedvthis book.
