★★★★★ "A mesmerizing journey through the heart of Ireland, where love blooms amidst ancient ruins and breathtaking landscapes. This tale will leave you yearning for the emerald hills and windswept shores!" "Stephanie"

In the enchanting embrace of Ireland’s rugged coastline, where emerald hills roll like waves beneath a brooding sky, Brigid McCarthy finds herself at a crossroads. Inheriting a crumbling lighthouse from her estranged grandfather, she embarks on an unexpected journey of self-discovery that will forever change her life. After five long years of grappling with loneliness following her husband’s death, Brigid arrives in Kinsale—a quaint town steeped in history and folklore—only to confront the suppressed desires and unfulfilled dreams that have haunted her for far too long.

As she steps into the haunting beauty of the dilapidated Dún na nGall Lighthouse, its weathered stones whisper tales of love lost and found. The salty breeze carries with it a sense of magic as Brigid begins the daunting task of restoration. It is here that fate intervenes in the form of Shannon Gallagher—a vibrant young carpenter whose laughter dances like sunlight on water. Their initial professional relationship ignites into an undeniable connection that forces Brigid to confront her true self amidst peeling paint and stormy nights.

As they work side by side, their bond deepens into something profound—culminating in a passionate kiss that shatters Brigid's fears and societal expectations. But as they navigate their growing love against the backdrop of small-town scrutiny and Brigid's magical heritage revealed through her grandfather's journal, they must find the courage to embrace their feelings amidst whispers of disapproval.

With Shannon’s unwavering support, Brigid uncovers not only her family's secrets but also the power within herself to reclaim joy and belonging in this land rich with myth and mystery. Together, they face storms, both literal and metaphorical, discovering that true strength lies in vulnerability.

Join Brigid and Shannon on this emotional odyssey through Ireland’s breathtaking landscapes—from windswept cliffs to tranquil shores—as she transforms not just a lighthouse but her very soul. In this tale woven with threads of love, loss, and acceptance, readers will find themselves yearning for the enchanting allure of Ireland—the land where every stone has a story, every breeze carries a secret, and true home is found not just in place but in love itself. Ireland.

Bad audio

I have a hard time believing that the author would have continued to repeat certain scenes with variations. Very annoying!

terrible audio

I was excited about the story after having just traveled to Ireland. The story is a little interesting but, holy cow!, the writing/audio is aweful. It seems as though the "AI" read every possible draft and edit ever made. Repetitive scenes, lines and way to much repetition of imagery. It needs to be re-done.
