spurred me on a bit
I hoped to learn more about divine encounters with God through spiritual gifts and didn't hear much more than what is commonly taught. Derek Prince's book Gifts of the Spirit goes into more depth than this one. However the author does a good job sharing her story and spurring the reader to pray, prophesy, speak on tongues and dig into God's word.
I'm less reluctant to step out in faith in these ways than I was before reading.
I'm now hungry for more of God's word and eager to spend more time in prayer.
